Dental examination

At Adeline, we offer dental exams with a technician to talk about your pet’s dental hygiene. Here are some of the things we’ll be doing during this 15 minute appointment:

• Perform a dental exam, which means we’ll be looking at the teeth, gums, tongue to check for any abnormalities, tartar, discoloration, fracture, mobility, deciduous teeth, etc.

• Talk about some of the products you can use to help maintain or improve your pet’s dental hygiene.

• Teach you about the different stage of periodontal diseases and what to look for.

• Talk about issues that can rise from bad dental hygiene and deciduous teeth.

• Give you tips and tricks on how to care best for your pet’s teeth to avoid dental surgery.

• If needed, talk about dental surgery, why and when it would be recommended and a quote on how much it would cost for your pet.
